The Park of Wesserling
The Park of Wesserling is a major cultural and tourist entity in Alsace. It is located in the Thur valley, in Husseren-Wesserling, about 45 minutes from Mulhouse. Historically based in the valley, it is the witness of the fabulous textile epic of the end of the 18th century. Indeed, it was home to a “Royal Manufacture” specialising in textiles using the block printing technique: Indiennage.
What makes the identity of the Park of Wesserling today are its gardens, its rich industrial heritage and its Textile Museum. A dozen or so events take place throughout the year to enliven the Park.
