This event, which has been running for over 10 years, highlights the richness of the Wesserling Park's textile industrial heritage, unique in France.
Come and discover the wastelands and former industrial buildings of the Wesserling Park in a festive and fun atmosphere! For the occasion, industrial sites, technical museums, and companies are joining forces to highlight their industrial heritage.
The textile museum, the Great Boiler House, and all the industrial heritage of the Wesserling Park will be majorly featured during this day of celebration with new activities and fascinating guided tours!
Program:
11 am - Walk along the water: Guided tour along the Thur river accompanied by the Head of Heritage of the Textile Ecomuseum of the Wesserling Park. Discover the role of this precious resource over the centuries.
→ Meet in the Castle courtyard.
2 pm - Fashion show and opening of the "Réflexion" collection: Attend the fashion show by the young designer Auréa Bloch. A poetic collection in an iconic industrial venue. Wow effect guaranteed!
→ Meet on the ground floor of the Great Boiler House (shop side). Access via the street.
4 pm - Opening of the "Intelligence collective" exhibition: Take part in the opening of the temporary exhibition on the bicentenary of the Mulhouse Industrial Society, in the presence of Marc Ritzenthaler, vice-president of the Dollfus Mieg and Koechlin DMK family museum association of Mulhouse. The opening will be followed by a lecture.
