Two days to explore the textile industrial heritage

For this new edition of the European Heritage Days, the Parc de Wesserling- Ecomusée Textile invites you to explore its former industrial buildings of Wesserling through several visits (free).

The Parc de Wesserling is a real factory town in a 42-hectare rural landscape, with a castle, gardens, villas, farm and 60,000m² of factories from different periods.

Discover the Grande Chaufferie. It is the former thermal power station which supplied the whole factory with electricity, steam and hot water. Today the factory is a place of artistic expression and exhibition dedicated to contemporary art.

Discover also the heritage trail. It is a beautiful walk on a 2 km path to discover the buildings of the Wesserling Park. A farm, stables, a cowshed, a water tower, a rural park, etc. punctuate the route. On the way, you will come across other abandoned buildings, witnesses of a past industrial activity. You will also see old buildings that have been renovated and are home to companies that play a major role in the attractiveness of the area.
