This is the go ahead of the Féeries Nocturnes (magical extravaganza) of the Wesserling parc. Are you looking for an outing idea during your August evenings? The Féeries Nocturnes is the exceptional event not to be missed in Alsace this summer.
The gardens of an Egyptian Queen
As you already know, this year, The Wesserling Park has turned into an ancient country: Egypt. Ephemeral gardens, artistic structures, greenery , all the ingredients are there to transport you to another world for a day. You’ll discover this real gem in a completely different way: at night. From 6.30 p.m. another universe unfolds. Multicolored lights, mysterious sounds and mythical characters will immerse the Gardens of a Queen of Egypt in an exotic and different atmosphere.
Encounter mystical characters
Take part to a great treasure hunt, search the hieroglyphics hidden in the Gardens! During your visit, go to meet our characters: a queen, gods, a servant. Queen Tahoser is getting married soon with the Pharaoh, they need your help for preparing the wedding.
Bastet
She is the goddess of home happiness, of sunshine, heat and motherhood: she is also the protective goddess of children and pregnant women. With her, you will be able to taste a mixture of spices for discovering and guessing their flavors.
Hathor
She is the goddess of love, beauty, music, motherhood and joy. Learn with her some dancing steps and shine at the wedding party.
Neith
Goddess of weavers, she is the architect of the universe and weaves the world like a web. Help her weave a pretty dress for Tahoser’s wedding.
Horus
He is the falcon god, the god of the sky. With him, light the stars and find out who Tahoser’s true love is.
Tahoser
Future Queen of Egypt; decipher the hieroglyphics to find the elements of the success of her marriage to Pharaoh.
Costumes 100% local made
The Wesserling Park is committed to promote local businesses. In the line with this approach, all the costumes were specially designed for the occasion by dressmakers from the valley.
We also thank Blandine Cusso for the headdresses of our gods and goddesses.
Flowered and illuminated gardens
The vegetation changes throughout the season, but without contest, its peak is in August. During your walk, you’ll discover a lush vegetation. In the vegetable garden, fruits and vegetables are nosing into view. The climbing beans mingle and intertwine. Flowers are blooming and offer a colorful spectacle. A detour to the regular garden will immerse you in a flowery meadow.
Fire show
For the second year in a row, we are very pleased to host the show of the Wulkan Company . The company was created in 2019 after a gathering of young people sharing the same passion: juggling with fire. Since then, the team continued to grow, diversified and perfected its techniques. This year, come and shiver with a sensational show around the theme of Egypt.
Meet at 9:00 p.m., 9:45 p.m., 10:30 p.m. in the English Park.

Meal at the hut ( cabanon des jardins de Wesserling): a tarte flambée lovingly prepared by an association employing back-to-work people.
